The Lizard Peninsula is in the far reaches of South West Britain howver transport links to get to this part of Cornwall are good.

By Car. From Bristol travel down the M5 to Exeter and the join the A30 eastbound. Continue down this road until you reach Carland Cross at which point come off and take the A39. Go through Truro down to Penryn where you come off and take the A394. Drive down to Helston and which point you need to decide where on the lizard your going. To get to Cury, Mullion, Lizard, Cadgwith, Kyance and Ruan, take the A3083 and enjoy the scenery!

By Train. The quickest way by rail is to go to the mainline station of Penzance. Slightly beyond the Lizard but quicker than getting off at Truro and driving down. A direct service runs from Paddington London to Penzance with a journey time of just over five hours. A sleeper service is also available. At Penzance there are a number of car hire firms available.

By Air. Newquay airport is the nearest airport and once there, driving time from Newquay to the Lizard is about 1 hour. There are national flights to and from Newquay with destinations such as London, Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh amongst others. There are also a limited number of international flights to European airports.
